A very popular hybrid tea rose bred by Jackson & Perkins in 2003, Ronald Reagan is being released from the J&P vault as a member of the exclusive Jackson & Perkins Heritage Collection. Ronald Reagan flowers in continuous waves over a long season, from late spring to late fall. Borne mostly singly or in small clusters, the 4-inch double blooms have a classic hybrid tea form; a light, sweet fragrance; and 30 red petals with a pale reverse. The long 16- to 20-inch sturdy stems are ideal for cutting.
Ronald Reagan is a large bush with an upright habit. Hybrid tea roses are perfect for single plantings and mixed beds.
