Note: At Jackson & Perkins, we are committed to shipping healthy live plants at the ideal planting time for your zone. In order to ensure our plants are shipped at the optimal conditions, we regularly adjust our shipping timeframes as needed. The below table reflects our current estimate of timing for rose, live plant and bulb shipping this season.

Shipping windows listed above are the projected timeframes orders will leave our facility based on product availability, weather, and other factors. To protect and maintain the quality of your items, we may alter the above ship dates to provide the best product quality upon arrival. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a shipment tracking number for your order. To ensure you receive the best quality roses and plants, we cannot hold orders or delay delivery once the order is prepared for shipment.

Please note that if your order contains multiple items, we aim to ship your full order in one shipment. If your order contains multiple items, it will ship once all items are available to ship to your zone. In certain circumstances, you may receive your order across multiple shipments.

Accessories and hard goods will be processed, packed and shipped promptly.

  • Allow 2-5 business days for processing prior to shipment.

  • Shipping charges are reflected in Secure Checkout.
  • Your credit card will not be charged until your order ships.
  • An order cannot be cancelled once it has been prepared for shipping.
  • Items ordered at the same time may be shipped separately.
  • Non-plant items - We ship within 7 business days for standard delivery. Delivery times vary.
  • We Ship at the best time for planting. Our expert horticultural staff determines proper planting time in each region of the country, and we ship accordingly. When shipment is immediate, allow up to two weeks after we received your order for delivery (most locations).
  • All orders are shipped FOB Origin.
How We Ship
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and the way in which it's delivered. Our custom containers have been extensively tested to ensure your merchandise arrives just as perfect as you see it on our website. Nobody delivers like we do.
2 Day Express
(2 business days guaranteed) Adds $16.95 per item to the standard delivery charge. Orders over $200.00 are 25% of merchandise total.
Adds $21.95 per item to the standard delivery charge. Orders over $200.00 are 30% of merchandise total.
Garden Fresh Express® Service
All live plants and evergreens are shipped via 2-3 Day Delivery directly from our grower.
Alaska and Hawaii Deliveries
To ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition, we recommend shipping to a street address, not a P.O. Box. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are sent via Express Delivery only. For Alaska and Hawaii shipments, please add $20.00 per order to the Standard Shipping & Handling charge, and allow one additional day for delivery. Although we are able to offer shipping to AK and HI we are unable to ship where horticultural restrictions apply. Potted plants to HI are still excluded.
For Canadian and Foreign Deliveries
We are not able to ship to Canadian, International or APO / FPO addresses.
Heavy & Oversized Products
Some products require an additional handling charge. You'll find it noted in the product description when shopping on our Website. Please note some heavy or oversized items are not available for Express or Overnight shipping. Some items may require special freight service to your shipping address.The freight company will contact you to arrange a delivery time.
Delivery Guarantee
While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of all information, we reserve the right to make corrections if an error does occur. Please check all addresses carefully. Postal and delivery services will not forward. We guarantee delivery only to the addresses we are given.


For Internet, telephone and FAX orders, we accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover Network, and American Express - please include card number and the month and year it expires. If you would like to use more than one Gift Card, please email us at If you intend to mail your order, we accept credit cards and personal checks. Credit cards are billed at time of order. Please note, free items incur shipping charges.

Sales Tax

Taxes will be estimated when orders are placed on the web or through our Call Center. Actual Taxes will be computed at the time the product is shipped and you will be emailed with the final order total including actual tax. If no tax is collected you may owe Use Tax to your state on this purchase.

Mississippi State Residents: The amount of sales/use tax is collected as a convenience to you per guidance provided by the Mississippi Department of Revenue.

Alabama State Residents: Seller has collected the simplified sellers use tax on this transaction(s) delivered into Alabama and the tax will be remitted on the customer’s behalf to the Alabama Department of Revenue. Seller’s program account number is SSU-R010195503.

Colorado State Residents: Effective July 1, 2022, Colorado imposes a retail delivery fee on all deliveries by motor vehicle to a location in Colorado with at least one item of tangible personal property subject to state sales or use tax. The retailer or marketplace facilitator that collects the sales or use tax on the tangible personal property sold and delivered, including delivery by a third party, is liable to collect and remit the retail delivery fee. Deliveries include when any taxable goods are mailed, shipped, or otherwise delivered by motor vehicle to a purchaser in Colorado.

If placing an order with a catalog mail in order form, follow the steps below. If you prefer to have us guide you through this, please email or easily place your order online and leave the rest to us.

  • Step 1 - If your state is listed below, please click on the state specific link to find your tax region and tax rate. If your state is not listed, you do not need to include estimated sales tax with your order.
  • Step 2 - Multiply the merchandise subtotal from your catalog mail in order form by the state sales tax rate to calculate your estimated tax. Write the estimated sales tax amount on your catalog mail in order form and include it in your order total.
  • Step 3 - Mail in your completed catalog mail in order form with your full payment including estimated sales tax. We will contact you directly with any questions on your order once we receive it.

Sales Tax

  • We collect sales tax for shipments to SC.
  • For orders by mail, please include the correct sales tax for your area when filling out the order form. Remember that shipping and handling charges are subject to sales tax where applicable.
  • For telephone orders, we will gladly calculate the correct sales tax for your order.
  • For orders online, your sales tax will be automatically calculated and billed to your credit card.
