Description
Strong Myrrh Fragrance

This standard form rose offers a strong central "trunk" topped with Like No Other, a floribunda rose, creating the appearance of a tree. Borne in clusters, the 3- to 4-inch dark magenta-purple blooms emit a strong myrrh fragrance and appear in flushes from late spring to late fall. The elevated crown affords a tiered planting effect, with sun-loving flowering annuals and perennials planted below.

Tree roses are very versatile. They add an elegant focal point to the garden or landscape and make great vertical accent plants, accentuating entries, walks, and corners. They are perfect for containers on porches, patios, and balconies.

The standard is grafted at 24 inches, with new growth beginning at that point, so the full height of the tree will be taller at maturity. To ensure success, always stake your tree rose, whether in the landscape or container, and select a large pot, the bigger the better.

All our trees are grown on Dr. Huey rootstock for its wide range of adaptability and shipped bare root.

This is one of three patio roses I have lining my sidewalk. My first purchase, Iceberg, was so outstanding that I wanted more patio/tree roses. I purchased Like No other this year. From almost the first day after I planted it, it was sprouting beautiful green leaves which were followed by rosebuds in clusters of up to nine. Now, less than 30 days after receipt, the buds are showing their color & ready to pop at any time. The foliage is nicely shaped with buds everywhere. I am anxiously awaiting the day they fully perform. I am no longer bending down to snip off shoots below the graft, no longer being snagged by thorns, no more leaf damage to dust or remove. My tree/patio roses, planted in pots, only require water & occasional organic feeding. I will be adding to my collection, I am certain.
