This standard form rose offers a strong central "trunk" topped with Lemon Burst, an exclusive Jackson & Perkins floribunda rose, creating the appearance of a small tree. This tree rose blooms heavily in late spring and typically flushes through fall. Borne singly or in small clusters, the very full, 3 to 3½-inch cuppy blooms have 80 to 115 bright yellow petals and a moderate fruity fragrance. The elevated crown looks great in a tiered planting with sun-loving annuals and perennials planted below.
Tree roses are very versatile garden plants. They add an elegant focal point to the garden or landscape and make great vertical accents, accentuating entries, walks, and corners. They are perfect for containerson porches, patios, and balconies.
The standard is grafted at 36 inches, with new growth beginning at that point, so the full height of the tree will be taller at maturity. To ensure success, always stake your tree rose, whether in the landscape or container, and select a large pot, the bigger the better.
All our trees are grown on Dr. Huey rootstock for its wide range of adaptability and shipped bareroot.
