Description

Cold Hardy to Zone 3

Felix LeClerc is a member of the Cold Hardy Rose Collection as well as the Canadian Artist Series, which features roses developed by a consortium of Canadian rose growers and breeders that are winter hardy across Canada and named after Canadian artists or their works.

A climbing rose, Felix LeClerc grows vigorously, its strong, arching canes reaching 10 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Borne in clusters, the large 4-inch double blooms have 15 to 25 deep pink to red petals and a light musk fragrance. The blooms arrive in flushes throughout the season, from late spring to late fall.

Felix LeClerc has good disease resistance and excellent cold tolerance. Climbing roses are highly versatile and can be grown on trellises, poles, arches, and pillars; trained along fences or walls; or allowed to fountain on their own.
