Holiday Amaryllis Transplanting

If you live in a mild climate (zones 8 to 11), Amaryllis will grow beautifully in your garden. Plant the bulbs about 4 to 6 inches deep, so the "shoulders" are covered. You want to make sure the very top of the neck sees sunshine. Leave 6 to 8 inches between the plants.

Make sure the bulbs are planted in full sun with good drainage. If you are planting in spring, give the bulbs fertilizer. When planted outside, they will usually bloom during the summer months. Our premium bulbs are certain to bloom heavily for many years!
