Make an even greater holiday impression with two Ragtime Amaryllis bulbs planted together in the Holiday Glow container. Known for its huge, fully double cherry-red blooms, Ragtime produces flowers up to 8 inches across, with layers of velvety petals that create a lush, luxurious display. The larger Holiday Glow planter, crafted from textured metal and accented with a warm gold finish, provides an elegant showcase for this fuller floral presentation.
With two bulbs growing and blooming over time, this gift creates an abundant display of seasonal color. Reaching approximately 18?24 inches tall and producing multiple stems and blooms, Ragtime typically blooms in approximately 6?8 weeks. The recipient receives a pre-planted gift that arrives already beginning to grow and ready to enjoy.
Part of the joy of an amaryllis gift is watching the display develop over time. Fresh green shoots emerge first, followed by sturdy stems and elegant buds that gradually unfurl into spectacular double blooms. With two bulbs sharing the same planter, the floral show becomes even more impressive, creating a rich display of color that brightens winter days and adds festive beauty throughout the season.
Our amaryllis bulb gift arrives just starting to grow, so the joy begins right away. It's a treat to watch as it changes a little each day?stretching taller, forming buds, and eventually blooming in bright, beautiful color. The display lasts for weeks, sometimes even longer, making it a cheerful addition to any space. Every gift comes with our Amaryllis Care Guide, so it's easy to keep the plant happy well past the holidays. With just a bit of care after blooming, it can come back year after year?a gift that keeps on growing.

Leave a ReviewEach amaryllis bulb arrives pre-planted in a grower's pot nestled in its decorative container and in the first stages of growth. Remove packing material on top of the container and add water until soil is moist.
Blooms will appear 6 to 12 weeks after arrival, depending on variety. As each bloom fades, simply remove. Some amaryllis send up the flower stalk first, followed by the leaves; others develop leaves first, followed by the flower stalk.
Note: If your amaryllis requires extra support to hold up its huge blooms, simply insert one of our attractive decorative amaryllis stakes into the soil next to the bulb.
Your amaryllis can bloom every Christmas for years to come by following these simple steps:
Place your amaryllis in direct sunlight with room temperatures ranging between 65° to 75°F. Blooms will last longer if moved to a cool spot between 55° to 65°F at night. Turn regularly to keep stems from leaning toward the light source.
Keep the soil moist but not soggy.
No fertilization is necessary for this growing season, as the bulb has all the nutrients needed. For future fertilization, Jackson & Perkins offers a selection of fertilizer & plant care products. We suggest using AlgoPlus Fertilizer for the general health and maintenance of your plant.
In Zones 8 to 11, your amaryllis can be transplanted outdoors in spring into organic, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Exception would be specialty exotic amaryllis, such as Papillio, which are recommended to be kept as houseplants indoors everywhere.
IMPORTANT: Ornamental plant material should not be eaten. Keep away from pets and children.
