One of J&P's most fragrant roses evernone pays better tribute to the rose's history as a producer of therapeutic essential oil.
This showy beauty starts from perfect pointed, ovoid buds suffused with rich pink tones that refuse to fade, from bud through the life of the bloom. Borne singly on long, strong, 14- to 18-inch stems, they sweeten the air with a powerful fruity aroma as they blossom into large fully double bloomsperfect for cutting.
This upright, well-branched bush flowers continuously rather than in waves, so you can expect a huge flush of flowers in late spring and early summer, followed all season by a steady procession of bloomsnot as heavy, but persistent for as long as the warm weather holds.
Our own Keith Zary introduced Aromatherapy in 2005. Its parentage is stellar: the seed parents are Honor x Kardinal 85, while the pollen parent is the hardy rose New Zealand, standing Aromatherapy in good stead for heavy, continuous flowering and lush foliage. You will find it a glorious addition to your landscape and your vases.
