Waxed amaryllis bulbs are designed to bloom with zero maintenance–just place it in a sunny spot and enjoy the show!
Waxed Amaryllis Bulb Care Guide
Water: Do not water. The wax coating contains everything the bulb needs to grow and bloom.
Light: Bright, indirect sunlight is best—think windowsills or well-lit desks.
Placement & Temperature: Keep indoors at room temperature (65–75°F). Avoid drafts or cold windows.
Rotation: Turn the bulb every few days to help it grow upright and avoid leaning.
Support: If it starts to tilt, gently support it with a stake or display it in a narrow vase or decorative holder.
Bulb Bloom Time
Bloom Start: After 4 to 6 weeks at room temperature, depending on variety.
Bloom Time: Approximately 3 weeks.
Bloom Count: 1 or 2 flower stalks with up to 4 blooms per stalk.
Bloom End: Approximately 3 weeks.
Waxed amaryllis bulbs are designed as single-use, decorative holiday gifts and do not rebloom. Because the roots have been removed and the bulb is sealed in wax, it cannot be replanted or reused.
