A Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrubs variety, Viburnum Yardline™ is an evergreen shrub with large, lustrous dark green leaves. In spring, a profusion of tiny white flowers appear in clouds of rounded clusters throughout the handsome foliage and are followed by red berries.
A wide cross between V. awabuki x (V. awabuki 'Chindo' x V. sieboldii 'Ironclad') x OP, commonly called snowball bush, Yardline has a natural columnar habit that makes it highly versatile in the garden or landscape. It's a striking and stately specimen in garden or container but is shown to best effect massed or grouped in mixed beds, borders, and foundation plantings. And it makes a great space-saving hedge or privacy screen.
An easy-care shrub, snowball bush grows best in sunny locations with rich, moist, slightly acidic, well-draining soils but adapts to most soils, even clay. Yardline is heat and drought tolerant once established, and generally disease and pest free.
