If you are expecting purple, then you will be surprised!
Art from SC wrote on May 31, 2020

I purchased this rose specifically because I wanted a purple rose. The day it arrived in bare root form, with a slight sprout already in place. I planted it immediately, it was covered in sprouts within days. The first and only bud appeared within 3 to 4 weeks. I was so looking forward to the beauty of my purple rose. It was going to be magnificent, it was going to be beautiful and PURPLE. The day arrived, the bud started to open. What did I see? Well it wasn't purple. I watched along for several days for this once tight rosebud to morph into the most beautiful ORANGISH APRICOT colored rosebud. It is not at all like the outside of a plum, but if you think of the rick ripe flesh of a summertime plum, then you got it. You can almost see the necture dropping from each petal. I hope to capture a picture to attach. Doesn't excuse the fact that it is marketed as purple, I think??

This came in as a bareroot which was very well packaged. I planted it on the day of arrival and the plant leafed out in 7 days from bud on the stem. It has been thirty day now and the plant has developed several bud and will bloom within a week.
