A Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrubs variety, Rosa Rise Up Emberays™ is a deciduous perennial climbing rose offering three seasons of interest, blooming from early to late summer. Long and continuously blooming, this rose sets big, luscious orange blooms accentuated with a bright yellow eye. Borne in clusters, the fragrant flowers repeat rapidly, attract bees and butterflies to the garden, and make lovely bouquets or additions to floral arrangements.
Rise Up Emberays has a climbing habit of super clean, glossy, dark green foliage. A striking specimen plant that will cover a trellis, column, or wall, this rose works well in a planter or hanging basket but is shown to best effect when massed or grouped in beds and borders.
A top-performing rose in trials, easy to grow and maintain, Rise Up Emberays grows best in sunny locations with moist, well-draining soil having a slightly acidic pH. But it is adaptable to a wide range of soils except very wet ones. This rose is bred to be disease resistant but should be spaced with good air circulation. Deadheading is not required for continuous bloom. Prune in spring, cutting back to just above the emerging large, healthy buds.
