Description

A Reblooming Evergreen Azalea | Blooms Spring & Fall

A Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrubs variety, Rhododendron Perfecto Mundo® Double Dark Pink Azalea blooms not for mere weeks but for months. It blooms on old wood in spring and, later, after a brief rest, it blooms on new wood in midsummer, continuing until first frost. And Double Dark Pink was one of the longest blooming in trials. The big, bright pink double blooms are as vivid and abundant in fall as they are in spring.

Easy care, azalea grows best in sunny to dappled sun locations with cool, moist, acid soils high in organic matter. A light pruning after the spring bloom will encourage new growth and heavier rebloom. Benefits from mulch.

Award-winning plant breeder Dr. Tom Ranney of NCSU created this revolutionary series. Evergreen azaleas with a neat, dense, rounded habit and lacebug resistance that bloom in spring, late summer, and right into fall—what more could you want?

Uses: Borders, Edging, Landscapes, Mass Plantings, Foundations, Hedges, Specimens, Containers
