Our Lady of Guadalupe Floribunda Rose

Description
Good-looking and hardworking

From the soft pink color to the sweet fragrance, Our Lady of Guadalupe, a floribunda rose, is a tribute to a simpler, perhaps more elegant time of Sunday drives and afternoon tea. A Jackson & Perkins original, this floribunda is versatile and extremely durable. It blooms heavily early and continues vigorously throughout the season.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Floribunda Rose produces generous clusters of 3-inch silver-tinged blooms featuring layers of ruffled, whorled petals. Opening from pointed buds, the high-centered blooms contain as many as 25 petals. This flowering shrub maintains its vigor through the hottest, most humid days of summer and can grow to 3 feet high and wide, making it an excellent option for a low hedge, a border accent, or a container.

The sweet fragrance of the blooms add to the comfortable, relaxed ambiance created by a rose with the charms of days gone by but with the strength, vivid color, productivity, and disease resistance of the most modern roses. The vigorousness of the diminutive shrub will pleasantly surprise first-time growers, allowing frequent snips for cut flowers.

Due to its compact size, Our Lady of Guadalupe Floribunda Rose can be grown outside its normal climate range with winter protection. The durable shrub is resistant to pests, powdery mildew, and rust. Few roses are as productive with as little maintenance.

The beautiful cultivar thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Spring pruning is recommended, as is the removal of dead and old wood. Canes should be trimmed by about one-third, more in colder climates.

Absolutely gorgeous!
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I was born on December 12th, which is the day Our Lady of Guadalupe is celebrated. I was drawn to the abundance of silvery pink roses before I knew the name of it. So, of course, I had to have it. I've been selfish and kept it for myself, knowing my mom will love it. I'm ordering one for her because it is stunning and a must have. You will love her. It is the rose you didn't know you needed, until you did! 10/10! Zone 10b. ❤️

A Must Have Rose
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

This rose is tough as nails despite the delicate appearance. I am so impressed that I have purchased a total of of four of these silvery pink beauty. The only care required is spring fertilizer, water for newbies during very dry, hot spells and light pruning. Highly recommended. Zone 7.

Wonderful rose (but description is off)
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

This rose is a wonderful performer. I bought mine several years ago and it has bloomed and thrived like a champ each summer in Zone 5b, regardless of weather conditions, including several polar vortexes. Very tough little rose; it blooms abundantly. By the way, J&P, the name is not about Sunday drives, afternoon teas, and ladylike behavior, but is a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary -- in Spanish, Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe.

The Best Rose
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I ordered this rose shipped as a plant last Spring (2019). It arrived with a bud and never stopped blooming after that. When Fall frost threatened, I moved it into our unheated sun porch. This rose continued to bloom into February! Agree with others that it is perfect for the humid Mid-Atlantic. Very disease resistant and a prolific bloomer. As many as 20 blooms at one time.
