I have to admit that I had not only never seen a fothergilla, I had never heard of one. But last year, I decided , Why not." It fit what I was looking for-height, sun requirements, etc. Well, in the last week it put on its first bloom. The puffy, white flower is so adorable that neighbors are asking, "What is that?" I love being a trend setter.
