An early blooming floribunda rose, Koko Loko™ flowers heavily in continuous waves over a long season, from late spring to late fall. Borne singly or in rounded clusters of 2 to 3 per stem, the long, full, cocoa-colored buds unfurl into milk chocolate fully double blooms, having 30 to 35 petals that suffuse to lavender. Warm weather brings out the lavender color. The flowers have a moderate fragrance and are long-lasting in the garden or vase. Just one snip makes a lovely bouquet.
The medium-sized bush has a full, bushy, rounded habit of lush green leaves and moderately vigorous growth. The bush is cold hardy to Zone 6, Zone 5 with protection. Koko Loko is a versatile rose that works well in landscapes, garden beds, hedges, or borders.
