A new St. John's wort, Hypericum 'Brigadoon' has a compact habit and presents electric yellow-green foliage that takes on an orange-gold hue when planted in the sun and turns orange in fall. In midsummer, tiny, fuzzy yellow flowers appear nestled among the foliage.
Hypericum 'Brigadoon' is a perennial ground cover that tolerates heat and shade and just about any soil, if it's well drained. Prune old wood in late winter.
