Heuchera Fyre Wing™ 'Heliodor' Coral Bells illuminates the shade with frilled, finely cut foliage in vivid lime green. New leaves arrive tinged in orange, lending a subtle warmth before maturing to fresh lime. In May and June, white flowers rise to about 15 inches above a neat 11 inch mound that spreads roughly 12 inches.
Introduced as part of the new for 2026 Terra Nova® Fyre Wing™ series, 'Heliodor' is an elegant accent for mixed containers and specimen plantings, offering foliage contrast and winter color. Pair it with hostas, ferns, astilbe, and hellebores in a woodland setting, where its bright leaves bring depth and light to darker greens.
Plant in part shade to full shade, sheltered from afternoon sun. Organic, well drained soil is ideal, though clay and rocky soils are suitable when drainage is adequate. Keep the soil moist but never waterlogged, and allow moderate drying once plants are established. Set the crown at soil level. Hardy in Zones 4 to 9, 'Heliodor' grows at a moderate pace and is evergreen in warm regions, semi evergreen in colder climates. Its glowing lime foliage is a refined answer for shaded beds.
