Heuchera Fyre Wing™ 'Amber' Coral Bells brings a warm, evolving palette to the garden with dense, deeply cut foliage of lacy texture. The leaves open in rich amber each spring, mellow to copper through summer, and settle into copper umber as autumn arrives. Delicate white flowers appear in May and June, rising to about 14 inches over a tidy 11 inch mound roughly 12 inches across.
Part of the new for 2026 Terra Nova® Fyre Wing™ series, 'Amber' is a sophisticated choice for mixed containers, specimen plantings, and borders that call for foliage contrast and winter color. Combine it with hostas, ferns, astilbe, and hellebores in shade, or with daylilies and ornamental grasses where the sun is brighter.
Grow in full sun to part shade in organic, well drained soil, or in clay and rocky soils that drain properly. Keep the soil evenly moist without waterlogging, and once established, allow it to dry moderately between waterings. Set the crown at soil level rather than burying it. Hardy in Zones 4 to 9, this coral bells grows at a moderate pace and remains evergreen in warm regions and semi evergreen in colder climates. Its seasonal progression from amber to copper umber is its signature.
