Description

All-America Rose Selections (AARS) Winner 2000

A hybrid tea rose, Gemini flowers in continuous waves over a long season, from late spring to late fall. Borne singly, long, plump buds spiral open into 5-inch high-centered double blooms with 30 to 35 petals and a light scent. The exquisite bicolored coral-pink and creamy white blooms look like painted porcelain and sit atop long, sturdy stems, ideal for cutting.

The tall bush has an upright habit that works well in single plantings and mixed beds.

A child of the elegant old hybrid tea rose Anne Morrow Lindbergh and the strongly colored, heat-tolerant New Zealand rose New Year, Gemini was bred by Jackson & Perkins and exhibits the best qualities of both.

Gemini Hybrid Tea Rose

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

Doesn't disappoint! Beautiful flower, I bought last year as part of a 4 pack deal, and they shipped the wrong rose. I called, and was requested to send a pic of the mistake and they promptly shipped me the correct rose, and told me to enjoy the one sent by mistake. I enjoyed all nine I ordered - some more heavily scented than others. I have read the reviews from folks - and I will say that I have had terrible luck in the past with my J&P, but last year I potted them all. I will be doing a raised bed this year, as it is obvious that these roses do not like the soil here at my house. They have overwintered well with just some pine straw, by our temps havent dropped below 18. Gorgeous flowers and I pruned well and they are already starting to leaf and fill out. A good amount of water and temps not hotter than 105 seems to be the ideal growing environment.

Amazing Rose

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

This rose performed exceptionally the very first year of planting. It is incredibly "floricious" and bloomed continually until Frost. I cannot recommend this rose highly enough. I am located in Raleigh, NC, and it really thrives here.

The only roses I order

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I have bought and grown their roses for years. They are the very best and the only roses I order. I tell everyone they really see a difference in the growth and beauty of these roses.
