Caladium Limelite offers luminous, heart shaped leaves in chartreuse and lime green, delicately speckled with blush pink. As the season matures, the foliage may soften to pale yellow or near white, creating an ethereal glow. Growing about 14 to 24 inches tall, this fancy leaf caladium keeps its color from summer until frost. Each pack contains 5 bulbs.
Limelite is an elegant way to bring light into shaded beds and container plantings. Its bright foliage creates refined contrast against deeper greens, drawing the eye into the shadier corners of the garden. Plant several bulbs together for a fuller sweep of chartreuse color in beds or pots. Introduced around the 2024 season, it is a fresh addition to the caladium palette.
Plant in partial shade to full shade, or in brighter spots with filtered light, which it tolerates well. Set tubers out after frost, once soil temperatures reach at least 65 degrees F. Hardy in Zones 9 to 10; elsewhere, lift the tubers after the first killing frost and store them for replanting the following season. The glowing chartreuse foliage, touched with pink, gives Limelite its distinctive, luminous character.
