Description
Flowers Heavily in a Long Blooming Season

Anemone Fantasy™ Snow Angel is a perennial offering late-season interest, just as other plants are beginning to fade. With a long blooming season, the plant flowers heavily in a flurry of bright white poppylike flowers with a yellow "button" of stamens in late summer into early autumn, attracting butterflies.

Borne singly on long, upright, wiry stems, the satiny flowers gracefully sway in the breeze above dark green basal foliage. A long-time favorite of florists, Anemone Fantasy™ Snow Angel make excellent cut flowers, best harvested as flowers are just starting to open.

This super vigorous herbaceous plant, also known as a windflower, has a low, mounding, clumping habit. Anemone Fantasy™ Snow Angel spreads by underground rhizomes and creates colonies over time, perfect for naturalizing in woodland settings.

Tough and easy to grow, good for low maintenance areas, the plant prefers full sun to dappled shade and fertile, humus rich, consistently moist, well-drained soil but grows well in average garden soil with medium moisture.

Shown to best effect when mass planted, it is perfect for urban gardens, borders, and containers. It is deer and rabbit resistant and salt tolerant.

Companion Plants: Physocarpus, Echinacea, Nepeta, Monarda
