Disneyland Floribunda Rose

I was surprised at the bloom color of this rose. I initially saw it at famous nursery in Southern CA. I fell in love and needed it in my collection. I was very excited to see it available at Jackson & Perkins. When I received the rose, the root ball was off center to the main shoots, which made planted a little challenging. It is thriving, however, the color is way different than the ones I’ve seen in person. This one is mostly orange,..no pinks whatsoever. I’m disappointed.

I am giving up on the Disneyland rose. I purchase a bareroot plant over a year ago and it bloomed the first year even though several of the branches died back pretty quickly. I love the flowers! I wanted another plant but they were very popular at the time so I was only able to buy one of the small potted plants. It didn't do so well. It eventually died. I purchased two more of the bare root plants when they became available, but they also didn't do well. I don't have any problems with Jackson and Perkins roses I purchase from a nursery, but the ones that I purchase through the mail just don't do very well. I saw that the Disneyland roses were on sale a few weeks ago (at a great price) so I purchased 3 of them. When I opened up the packaging after they arrived, all of them have fungus on them as well as several blackened branches. I guess I am through trying to get this rose to survive. I did plant the roses and I will update this review if they survive. I will attach pictures if it is possible. I won't be purchasing any more roses through the mail.

Despite the loose packaging the plant arrived alive and well. Would order again just wished it was packed better to ensure plant roots do not get damaged.

I planted the bush two weeks ago. It looks great.

Bought 2 Disneyland roses last year , grew beautiful , this year bought 4 more as gifts doing great , 2 as gifts 2 for myself , I am a Disneyland fanatic , they are in big pots so I could move them around , I live in the hot Arizona state , don’t want to burn them up from the strong heat , they are going to look beautiful this spring and summer .
