Calla Collection bulbs are Zantedeschia spp. varieties, commonly known as calla lilies. Native to South Africa, these plants are tender perennials in Zones 8-10 but are often cultivated as annuals or houseplants in cooler regions. They thrive equally well in gardens or containers, whether outdoors or indoors, with three bulbs typically filling a 10- to 12-inch pot. Calla lilies serve as excellent specimen plants and are particularly striking when massed or grouped in beds and borders.

Calla lilies are virtually trouble-free and easy to cultivate. They flourish best in sunny locations but can tolerate partial shade, especially in hot summer climates where full morning sun and afternoon shade may be preferable.
