Description
The grapes produced on this mid-season variety are prized for their low acidity and super sweet flavor

Vitis Niagara White Grape is a versatile and productive grapevine that's as beautiful as it is bountiful. This deciduous vine is celebrated for its dual purpose, offering both stunning foliage and delicious fruit. The Niagara variety blooms with delicate greenish flowers in late spring, leading to an abundant harvest of greenish-white grapes by late summer or early fall. These grapes are known for their lower acidity compared to other American varieties, and their delightful aroma is sure to captivate your senses.

The seedless grapes are firm and boast a robust, sweet, floral flavor that's perfect for eating fresh off the vine. They're also excellent for juicing or creating homemade jams, jellies, wines, and champagnes. The Vitis Niagara White Grape is a hardy vine, second only to the Concord variety in terms of cold resistance.

In its first year, allow the grapevine to grow freely. By the second or third year, it should be pruned heavily and supported with a post or stake, leaving only the strongest stem. Regular pruning and spraying will ensure maximum fruit production. This vine can be grown on a wire trellis, trained on an arbor, or espaliered against a wall, making it a versatile addition to any garden.

For optimal growth, grapevines prefer sunny locations with deep, well-draining soil. However, they are adaptable to a variety of soil types, particularly clay and loam that have been enriched with organic matter. A location sheltered from winter winds, shallow cultivation, and mulching will all benefit the vine. The Vitis 'Niagara' White Grape is self-fertile, meaning it will bear fruit without the need for pollen from other varieties.

Grapes ship as 1-year-old plants.

Grapes doing great!
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

Bought the 3 pack of white grapes and planted them immediately. Unfortunately we got 6" of snow (unexpectedly) on May 23... such is life in Montana. The grapes had just started sprouting little green leaves. I thought that was it and they were done for, but now it's July 1 and the weather has been mostly cooperative and they had beautiful leaves. I think they are going to do just fine!
