Viola Celestial™ Blue Moon is an evergreen perennial offering 3 seasons to year-round interest, blooming early spring to late fall. The delicate porcelain-colored creamy white flowers have an elegant sky-blue wash, a bright yellow eye, and a lovely fragrance.
A Viola hybrid, commonly called violet, Celestial Blue Moon has a compact, rounded, bushy habit of rich dark green foliage. Celestial Blue Moon is shown to best effect massed or grouped. It is a beautiful container or garden plant that makes charming ground cover or edging.
Easy to grow and low maintenance, violets grow best in a sunny to sun-dappled location with moderately fertile, well-draining soil. Celestial Blue Moon was bred for heat tolerance and is deer resistant.
