All-America Rose Selection 2010
Not your average pink rose, Easy Does It® Floribunda Rose boasts a cheerful mix of honey-pink and orangey-apricot hues, creating rich secondary sunset shades of salmon and dark gold that few roses can match. The flowers are packed with up to 30 petals, arranged in classic spirals or in full and flouncy open cups with very ruffled and scalloped edges, which add an artistic flair to each flower! Like other floribundas, Easy Does It is very floriferous, setting its abundant blooms in clusters; unlike most other floribundas, Easy Does It produces blooms that can reach up to 4 inches wide! And they have a delightfully fruity fragrance. The wonderful perfume and unique coloring of the very full blooms will create a unique combination that you will never forget.
Easy Does It has a very rounded and bushy habit and grows vigorously, reaching to a mature size of about 3 to 4 feet tall, with a similar widthnice for decorative patio pots and small gardens. The garden performance is also exceptional, with excellent resistance to all foliar diseases, which is part of the reason why Easy Does It was the only 2010 All-America Rose Selection!
A perpetual bloomer, Easy Does It will put out wave after wave of blooms all season long, a process that you can accelerate by deadheading faded blooms promptly. The blooms keep coming until cold weather arrives, typically to first frost. This great all-around garden performer also grows glossy, dark foliage all the way down to the ground so that it needs no foreground planting.
Plant this floribunda rose in full sun and well-drained soils. It stands up to hot and humid climates better than most roses (even in Zone 10), resisting mildew and rust and staying exceptionally healthy! As easy on the gardener as it is on the eyes, Easy Does It® is simply a pleasure!
