Penstemon (Beardtongue)

Penstemon (Beardtongue) are great low-maintenance heat and drought tolerant plants. Trumpet-shape blooms will show their vibrant color in early to late summer attracting butterflies. Flower stems grow anywhere between 1 and 3 feet tall depending on the variety. Gives the most impressive appearance when planted in sunny spaces and in large groups.
