You won't believe the fragrance that comes from these precious blooms.
Narcissus Paperwhite cheer up gloomy winter days with fragrant, 3- to 4-inch flowerheads of white blooms on 16-inch stems. Extra-large flowering bulbs produce big, healthy blooms that can be forced to bloom anytime between Thanksgiving and Valentine's Day.
The perfect holiday gift for a gardening or flower-loving friend, Narcissus Paperwhite (also known as Narcissus polyanthus) grow easily in a dish filled with a layer of pebbles and just enough water to raise the humidity. Keep the bulbs in a cool, dry place prior to forcing. They store well, so you can begin growing them in succession every few weeks for nonstop indoor blooms all winter.
Our top-size bulbs produce up to 18 blooms per spike, with a fantastically sweet scent that is particularly welcome in winter's gloom. Do find a place for them in your home this season; they will quickly become an essential part of your winter decorating scheme. Also suitable for outdoor growth in zones 8 to 10.
