Mother of Pearl® Grandiflora Rose

I planted it this spring. The sheer volume of blooms that it has produced is staggering. The color is beautiful and the growth habit has been great. Not one issue with black spots either. Overall one of my new favorites.

This rose came bare rooted and it was a vigorous plant from teh start. It leafed out quickly and when it bloomed it was a large number of flowers for a first year plant. The color is spectacular. Teh rose is very delicate. The plant is extremely healthy and survived an attack by deer that seemed to only force more growth. I cannot say the same for the other plant I ordered at the same time. Order Mother of Pearl knowing this is a beautiful and extremely healthy plant from J&P.

This rose is the gift that keeps on giving! Planted in early May 2024, it has repeat blooms again and again. I am so pleased with the Mother of Pearl. It has a lovely color and bloom shape. Thanks J&P!!

The competition for most beautiful rose in my garden is tough, but Mother of Pearl is probably my current choice. Very sturdy upright canes LOADED with blooms and more on the way.

I bought 2 bareroot plants Mother of Pearl and Sweetness. Mother of pearly looked to be grown on its own roots, Sweetness not. Mother of Pearl came out of dormancy very quickly and started leafing out even during some cold early spring nights. The plant has an amazing color that is not really captured in teh catolog photos. they are very orange at first and fade to a "warm" pinkish color. I am so happy with the color and teh health of this rose. FYI, my other plant, Sweetness had a lot of issues coming out of dormancy. I tried the J&P customer service email and was put in touch with a horticulturist who gave me tips on how to bring that plant out of dormancy. The advice was perfect and I am now using the fish fertilizer that was recommended on not only my roses but vegetables. The horticulturist saved this plant and helped me with others. Cannot recommend Mother of Pearl and J&P enough.
