Easy to Grow and What a Show

This is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrubs variety, Buddleia 'Miss Molly'.

As beautifully red as you'll find in the garden. Plus, easy to grow. 'Miss Molly' changes shades through the summer and fall. But each shade is as gorgeous as the previous shade. From fire-engine to magenta and burgundy, this awesome Butterfly Bush provides vivid, distinctive color and spectacular foliage.

The most common shade, we call "sangria," but it changes throughout the season with more shades of red developing in warmer regions and purple shades favoring colder climates. Whether more red or more purple, 'Miss Molly' stands out in your garden.

Attacting butterflies, bees and hummingbirds in the sunny garden, the bottlebrush blooms increase vigorously, allowing for regular cutting for vases from midsummer until the first frost. Growing 5 feet high and 5 to 6 feet wide, 'Miss Molly' requires little care. Cut it down to about one-third its original height in late winter and early spring for increased flower production and watch it grow! There is no easier plant for the sunny garden.

Developed at North Carolina State University by Dennis Werner, who bred it from Buddleia Miss Ruby x Attraction, 'Miss Molly' inherited its terrific vigor and vitality. Magnificent in the border, it's a colorful attraction.

This variety of Buddleia has been approved as a seedless butterfly bush cultivar and is considered sterile, producing less than two percent viable seeds, so it will not spread. It is approved for sale in all states without restriction. https://www.oregon.gov/ODA/programs/NurseryChristmasTree/Pages/ButterflyBush.aspx

Dried out and half dead plants!
This shopper rated the product 1 out of 5 stars

I have been a customer of JP for many years. No more! I accepted that I pay more for a good product. However, this time the butterfly bushes that I ordered arrived badly dried out having lost most of their leaves and more than half of the branches dead! This was a terrible shipment. I texted the problem to JP and was told that it was the end of the season (no so in FL where I live) and that they would make a note of it. I did supply pictures of the plants. There was no offer to replace the plants or make some other reparations… just that they would make a note of it!?! How is that supposed to help me the customer. I’m done with this company and their non-existent customer service!

Miss Molly is Good
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I ordered 10 rose bushes, 4 trees, and 1 butterfly bush last summer. Out of the lot, Miss Molly is by far the top performer. The Hummingbirds, butterfly, and bees like it too. The climbing and standard bare root roses took far more effort, time, cost, and are all dead. The Crape Myrtle Red Rocket trees enjoyed a 50% success rate, the two surviving are still very small. All in all, the Miss Molly is my one and only good purchase from J&P.
