Graceful stature and reliable blooms in a mix of exotic colors

Plant Lilium Asiatic Lily Mix bulbs in the fall, and by spring to early summer, your garden will be graced with huge, star-like flowers in a stunning array of exotic colors. These lavish, upward-facing blooms grow on graceful, leaf-covered stems that rise 26 to 38 inches tall, creating a breathtaking display. Each mix pack offers a unique blend of varieties and colors, making every garden experience one of a kind. Asiatic lilies are known for their reliable blooming season and extended flowering period. The flowers feature large, pollen-covered anthers that attract bees and butterflies, adding life to your garden, while also making excellent cut flowers for stunning floral arrangements. When cutting flowers, it's essential to leave as much stem and foliage in place as possible—at least 2/3 of the stem with leaves should remain to ensure the bulb is renewed for next year's growth and flowering.

Asiatic lilies, belonging to the Lilium asiatic species, are bulbous perennials with an upright habit. In optimal conditions, they naturalize easily, returning year after year to grace your garden beds and borders. They are a must-have for any cutting garden but also thrive in pots and containers, offering versatility in your gardening design.

For best results, plant Asiatic lily bulbs 6 to 8 inches apart and 6 to 8 inches deep. Asiatic lilies thrive with their heads in a sunny spot, requiring at least 6 to 8 hours of sun each day, but prefer their roots to be shaded. They favor cool, well-draining soils with a slightly acidic pH. To ensure winter survival, especially in colder climates, apply a good winter mulch to protect the bulbs until spring. Asiatic lilies are winter hardy to Zone 3 and should be fed with Espoma Organic® Bulb-tone® Bulb and Flower Food in the spring as growth begins. Allow the foliage to die back naturally before removing it to support the bulb's health for the following year. Asiatic lilies are also deer-resistant and rodent-resistant, making them a durable and beautiful choice for any garden.
