Colorful and Fragrant, Season after Season

This is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrubs variety, Itea Little Henry®.

Spring to summer blooms, sweet scent, and bright red fall foliage—who could ask for anything more than the multi-season beauty of this native shrub?

Little Henry® is a dwarf Virginia sweetspire, with a dense well-branched habit and plenty of long bottlebrush blooms that shoot off in all directions in late spring and early summer. Lightly fragrant, they attract butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds into the garden. And this shrub can grow in just about any exposure from full sun to deep shade.

Itea Little Henry® offers soft green foliage in spring and summer, then blazing red leaves in autumn. What a brilliant show to finish the season. This shrub is truly a must-have.

Easy to Grow and Cute!
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I am a beginning gardener and bought these primarily for the name “Little Henry” as I birthed my own little Henry in February. I liked that these have multi-season appeal and didn’t seem to be too particular about their environment (#beginnergardener). They were probably about 8 inches tall when they arrived and cute with white flowers from March to May in central TX and as of late May/early June they have more of a greenish flower but the shrub itself is growing quite a bit - more than doubled in size. I have them planted in a south facing garden bed that receives some shade from a large tree and I think they’ve done pretty well. Excited to see their red color in the fall! All were shipped quickly and packed with great care.
