Helleborus HGC® Ice N' Roses® Red Hellebore

Ice N' Roses® Red is a free-flowering cultivar with a compact habit and more blooms than just about any other hellebore we have seen. The flowers are pendant shaped with dark crimson-red petals around a frilly yellow center. They make good cut flowers for kitchen table bouquets.

Happiest in shade, Lenten rose needs little attention beyond its first year in the garden, when it should be pampered. Once it finds its feet, it will take off, returning a little bigger and stronger each year. The plant is toxic, keeping pests and diseases at bay, and it stands up to infertile soils, heat, humidity, drought, and cold. So it's virtually Bulletproof!
