Epimedium (Barrenwort) is a species of evergreen hardy perennials, and bloom in the spring with it's unique four-parted spider-esqe flowers. The stems vary from solitary stems to multiple stems growing close together. Each flower has parts in fours. Four sepals, four petal-like inner sepals, four sepals capped off with a nectar producting spur that may be longer than the sepals. Sometimes called Fairy Wings.
