Colocasia Royal Hawaiian® Tropical Storm Elephant Ear is a strikingly compact tropical plant, perfectly suited for small gardens and patio pots. Growing 18 to 24 inches tall and wide, this variety forms a dense canopy of dark purple-black leaves adorned with creamy central streaks and wavy edges. Slightly cupped, the leaves are held aloft by glossy burgundy-red stems, and their undersides reveal dramatic burgundy-red veins. A frost-tender Colocasia esculenta cultivar, Tropical Storm thrives in Zones 8-12.
