Clematis Boulevard Poseidon is a multistemmed, deciduous, woody climbing vine with a compact, twining, and trailing growth habit. It reaches a mature height of 3 to 4 feet, with its green foliage maintaining its freshness throughout the season. This plant follows the old adage of clematis growth: the first year they sleep, the second year they creep, and the third year they leap. Train this clematis to climb a trellis, arbor, post, or fence for a vertical garden feature. Alternatively, let it wander along the ground, weaving its way through your shrubbery.
