Monarda Sugar Buzz® 'Cherry Pops' is a bee balm with a bright red flower that will provide a colorful display in the sunny garden border. The colorful, fragrant flowers attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds, and the foliage can be used for delicious teas. The large 2 to 2.5-inch flowers are perched on 20-inch stems that do not require support or staking.
Monarda Sugar Buzz® 'Cherry Pops' can spread to 26 inches in width at maturity to cover a wide space with consistent color in mid to late summer. It is a resilient bee balm that is resistant to deer, and it can adapt to partial shade and poor soils. The flowers can be removed as they fade to encourage additional blooms.
