Description
A garden star with award-winning beauty

A showstopper from any angle!

All-America Rose Selection (AARS) 1982

Brandy™ is a stunning beauty. This lovely hybrid tea can grow between 4 and 6 feet tall at maturity but is most notable for the sheer size of its blooms. Opening from long, pointed buds, the very large double flowers are classically formed with up to 35 petals a piece. Borne singly on thick stems—perfect for cutting—the blooms have a rich honeyed apricot to golden-bronze color and light ruffling, just for good measure. Their gentle fragrance is just icing on the cake! Underscoring the charms of the blossoms is Brandy's handsome dark green foliage that stays lush and attractive throughout the growing season.

This flowering perennial shrub grows vigorously and features a very upright habit that's perfect for garden beds, the back of borders, and cutting gardens. But, no matter how you look at it or where you plant it, Brandy is a garden star and a must-have for all true rose-lovers.

Ordered and Planted in 2025. It started off well but neither of the two plants survived. Absolutely one of my favorite roses.

Color and fragrance. Unfortunately it arrived w some black areas on the stalk and mildew. It died and I was very sad tossing it in the trash.

I bought Brandy because it was on sale and good through zone 10. It was a lovely rose when I grew it years ago in North Carolina.
