‘Tis the Season for Giving

At Jackson & Perkins, we know how important the holidays are. That’s why every year we strive to offer the highest quality holiday gifts, so that you and your loved ones have an unforgettable holiday season. After all, ’tis the season for giving, right.

This year, we wanted to give the gift of joy to everyone, especially those who aren’t fortunate enough to spend their holidays at home with loved ones. So, we launched a one-day campaign that allowed our customers to take part in the giving! For each item purchased, Jackson & Perkins gave a gift to charity, and we were thrilled when tons of gifts were purchased on the day of the event. We were able to donate to various organizations including Connie Maxwell and the Bowers-Rodges Children’s Home, both of which are places for children in need of a loving home. We also sent living gifts to retirement homes like Wesley Commons, Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina, and Emerald Gardens. We also wanted to give some holiday cheer to those who are ill or disabled, and we were excited to donate bright Christmas blooms and trees to The Burton Center and AnMed Medical Health Center – Women and Children’s Hosipital.

Jackson & Perkins sent live tabletop Christmas trees and live Amaryllis plants to patients at AnMed Health Hospitals in Anderson, SC. This is Amos Terry and his wife, Imogene Terry, enjoying one of our fragrant evergreen trees. Just seeing the smiles on their faces made our holiday season that much merrier!

tree gift

Not only were we able to spread joy to these organizations, but our customers have also caught the holiday cheer! One of our customers, Hilary Tyson, gave her parents one of our live decorated Christmas trees for the holidays. Touched by the holiday spirit, Hilary let us know how thrilled she was with the product and service!

“My parents got the tree yesterday and loved it! I had to email you to let you know that my mom said that the tree was packed beautifully to withstand the shipping. She was very impressed and said the soil was still wet when she opened it. And she said the tree is lovely.

She is disabled and elderly. When she tried to get the box from outside the carrier noticed she was elderly and even though he was already back in his truck and it was raining, he called out to her and told her he would be right there. He ran up a long way to carry the box into her house for her! Great job by your company and the carrier!

Thank you for offering a high quality product! You did a fantastic job and made my parents happy!

Happy holidays!

Hilary Tyson
