Description

Am I too Bright? Pardon Me!

This breakthrough variety offers some of the biggest, brightest, pinkest blooms that bee balm has ever seen!

This fragrantly floriferous variety of Bee Balm is a well-branched and heavily blooming variety which has superb resistance to powdery mildew.

The Pardon Me line of bee balm has been improved over previous cultivars. Full size flowers sit on ultra compact plants measuring 3 inches wide. The blooms are a brilliant pink and much loved by bee and butterflies, as well as hummingbirds. They are a perfect addition to gardens looking to attract these beautiful creatures. These flowers will look just as good in August as they did in June!

Pardon Me Pink Bee Balm begins blooming in midsummer, continuing through the remainder of the season. The foliage remains a healthy and vibrant dark green color, and plants grow 10 to 12 inches high. Unlike previous cultivars, this variety is resistant to many of the pests and problems which are the bane of its predecessors.

Bee Balm is incredibly easy to plant and is your must have for a shady to partially shaded perennial garden. It is fragrant and easy to grow in moist, yet well drained soil.

A sweet little plant

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I bought this because other monarda do will here in Delaware. It is a sweet little plant but sturdy and compact with bright pink flowers that are more dainty than the standard shaggy-petalled red monarda. I planted it in front of taller coneflowers which shade it and make a poor combination due to the extreme height difference. I'm going to move it to a walkway where it will be better enjoyed yet still in part shade and amongst friends of closer height.

Like flowers that aren't finicky. from DE
