Disneyland 36-inch Tree Rose

Mouseketeers, take note! Now you can grow the official rose of the Disneyland resort theme park right in your own garden or on the patio! A beautiful blend of orange and pink, these double blooms arise in big clusters on vigorous canes. Grafted onto a sturdy 3-foot standard, Disneyland® delivers a big splash of bright beauty to any setting!

Disneyland is a free-flowering, repeat-blooming floribunda. The pink and orange tones are accompanied by apricot and copper highlights, creating a blend of color that looks slightly different on each bloom -- always unique, always new! Very slightly scented with a tea rose aroma, these blooms reach 3 inches wide and are packed with ruffled petals. Enchanting!

DIsneyland repeats all season, even when the weather is at its most hot and humid. Bred from two old favorites -- Sequoia Gold™ x 'Hot Tamale' -- Disneyland really stands up to heat and humidity, looking in September as fresh and lush as it did in May!

To achieve the giant "lollipop" look of this tree rose, we have grafted 4 Disneyland Roses atop a 3-foot trunk. We use our own specially developed rootstock for this purpose, rather than the 'Dr. Huey' stock common in the industry. Known here at Jackson & Perkins as RW, this rootstock has proven to be very vigorous, straight, and winter-hardy. It accepts grafts easily, and grows strongly for many years. Give it a bit of winter protection at the graft site in northern or severe-winter climates, and it will grow and bloom beautifully season after season.

Disneyland® Rose reaches 4 to 5 feet high and 3 to 4 feet wide, including its 36-inch base. Typically grown in containers, tree-form roses do very well in garden soil as well, so feel free to plant this reblooming floribunda wherever you need a big pop of brilliant color.
