These sculpted petals capture a dozen rich colors at once.

A heavenly sweet pear fragrance.

Emanating a warm, peaceful glow, these tremendous high-centered double blooms glow in shades of coral, rose, red, and peach. Each is exquisitely sculpted, slowly swirling open to release a heavenly sweet pear fragrance distinctively different from any other scent in the rose garden. Exhibition quality, the blooms display stronger coral and pink tones in cooler climates and richer rose and red shades in the heat. A natural wonder of color and form. Pretty desert hot orange blooms
Natalie from CA wrote (August 28, 2012):
I bought this Jackson & Perkins rosebush the year it came out (I believe 2009 or 2010). It's given me beautiful bright orange red flame colored flowers each year. They are larger faces with a rounded petal shape but only some fragrance...I would not describe this rose as very fragrant. It has really nice shiny dark colored leaves which seem to be very tasty to grasshoppers. This Sedona seems to be eaten more by insects than my other rose bush varieties. I've had it a few years and it hasn't grown too much but it does give flowers twice a year each year. Each rose from bud to bloom once in bloom lasts about 5 days on the bush before the petals fall. I have had some problems with rust spot and black spot with this rose bush but not as much yellow leaves as I get with others so that's a plus. It doesn't seem to be a very fast growing bush, it's only a little above 3 feet tall after a few years. Overall because I love the look of the blooms and the more oval shaped glossy darker foliage and it's nice upright grow

Exclusive and Superior Rose Breeding Process

Jackson and Perkins exclusive rose varieties have been bred to exhibit the most preferred rose characteristics for rose gardeners. It takes many years to develop a single rose variety, and our rose breeders have painstakingly evaluated, tested, and grown superior new genetic features into these new rose varieties for introduction.

The healthy rose plant canes are now hand groomed for the customers' garden presentation. The roses are then harvested at the perfect time in preparation for shipping and customer planting. All of these steps, from rose research, planting, budding, growing, harvesting and storing, are essential to ensure you receive a healthy, vigorous Jackson & Perkins rose plant, the WORLD’S FINEST ROSE.

What to Expect

Container roses should typically be planted in late spring and fall. They’re easy to plant (all you need is a trowel), and they provide instant gratification, as they aren’t dormant and will have buds within a few short weeks, if they don’t when they arrive. They’re also perfect for transplanting into containers and make an attractive gift.

Container roses are usually nicely leafed out, and may even have flowers on them, which is a great way for you to know when you purchase them what they’re going to look and smell like.
