Start Shasta season several weeks sooner next year with free-flowering Daisy May™!

Big 3-inch daisies all summer long!
Plant Patent Applied For. Cultivar name: 'Daisy Duke'

This new Shasta is an improvement in so many ways over all previous varieties! First, it matures earlier, so the blooms start several weeks sooner each summer. Second, it is more floriferous than others. Third, it's compact and tight, with less foliage to detract from the gorgeous flowers. And fourth, it's eager to rebloom heavily if deadheaded.

Just 12 to 24 inches high and 10 to 14 inches wide, Daisy May™ starts flowering two to four weeks sooner than most others, thanks to a shorter vernalization requirement. The flowers are 3 inches wide, single and bright, with tightly-packed long, slender white petals around a large golden button. Great for cutting, they have a full, lush look on compact, well-branched plants.

Best of all, if Daisy May™ is kept deadheaded, it will rebloom reliably near summer's end. Just when the other perennials in your garden are bidding adieu, Daisy May™ is popping back up for a final hurrah before fall. It makes a great companion to fall bloomers such as Mums and Asters, ushering in their season with a flourish of spanking white! What a great contrast plant to have around in containers as well as the border -- it makes everything else gleam a little more brightly!

Daisy May™ has already won awards from the University of Georgia and the University of Wyoming, and you're going to be amazed by its performance. Butterflies love these blooms, and so will you. Find a place in the sun for this charming newcomer, and enjoy daisies twice next year! Zones 5-9.
