NOT Pest-Free!!
Karen from IL wrote (June 09, 2013):
Don't be fooled by the fact that the description of this plant says that it is pest free. Aphids adore this plant; so does powdery mildew. As long as you're willing to keep after the aphids and spray for the mildew (neem oil works well for both), this fast-growing plant will reward you with lots of flowers and a beautiful fragrance all summer long.
Beautifyl, hardy vine
Meg from PA wrote (January 11, 2012):
Years ago I searched for plants that could handle clay because I'm a lackadaisical gardener. It sure grows well in my poor soil and has attracted hummingbirds from time to time. The flowers are beautiful and the berries, too. I haven't smelled the honeysuckle smell, though. Also, the vine (I staked it vertically) is getting woody.
