Compact plants with big 4-inch blooms!

The bottom layer is strawberry, while the top is a richer raspberry.

Plant Patent Applied For.

There has never been a Coneflower more fun to grow than Raspberry Truffle, with its giant 4-inch blooms that begin life as peachy-pink daisies and then grow a pom-pon of deeper raspberry! Arising plentifully on compact plants, they are a glorious addition to the sunny border or the cutting garden.

The mahogany stems of this tough-as-nails perennial adds another layer of color to the display, standing out nicely against dark green foliage. Raspberry Truffle reaches about 28 to 32 inches high in bloom, and 20 to 24 inches wide, with good branching and a neat, tidy habit even suitable for containers.

Raspberry Truffle is part of the Cone-fection™ series of big, double-flowered Echinacea varieties, and we have to say it's our favorite of the bunch! From the dollop of chocolate-brown at the center of this bloom of the many shades of carmine, rose, and pink below, it is a magnificent creation. And like all Coneflowers, it's very vigorous, standing up against heat, humidity, drought, poor soil, deer, and other dangers. Pamper it the first season, then let it take off. You won't be disappointed! Order your Raspberry Truffle plants today, however -- this new variety will be a big seller, and we want to make sure you reserve yours! Zones 4-9.

bought them because their uniqueness appealed to me - I am not disappointed - this is their first year in my flower bed - they're magnificent, covered with large blooms - a joy to behold - can't wait to have more of them
