Azalea Care Instructions

PLACEMENT:
Diffused (indirect) sunlight/nighttime temps of 55-60°F. May be kept on a covered porch or patio all summer, but bring inside before danger of frost.
WATER/FEEDING:
Water regularly to keep soil moist. Never allow to dry out completely. For best results, place in a shallow tray of water for several hours, or until soil is thoroughly moist and no longer absorbing water. Mist leaves once a week. Fertilize after blooming is over, using a flowering houseplant food.
RE-BLOOMING:
Remove blooms from the plant as they fade. In fall, to ensure maximum blooming next spring, move to a protected location with diffused light and temps of 45-50°F. Keep soil moist at all times. Return to warmer temps in about 8 weeks, once the buds begin to swell.
